Hello hello....
Wow, this is crazy to think this is my very last email of my mission!!
I don't even know what to think or feel! Thank you so much for your sweet emails and the testimonies you shared!! I have been so thankful to hear from yall each week. I have learned a lot from your experiences, particularly your spiritual experiences!! sweet emails and the testimonies you shared!! I have been so thankful to hear from yall each week. This week has been full of really wonderful experiences. We delivered cookies with a less active, we had our last district meeting, it was womens conference, we found some new investigators, and we even did service for one of our investigators with another one of our investigators!!! It was fantastic! One experience I really enjoyed was when we had dinner with the Bishop. We did something I had never done before, we just decided to have each person ponder a question and then we started reading with a promise that the spirit would answer their question. Wow, in the first verse of the Book of Mormon my question was answered!! By the end of the first chapter every person in the rooms question was answered!! It was amazing. I know that the Book of Mormon has so much power and through the spirit that is felt by reading that book all of our questions can be answered.I am so thankful for that book, I am thankful for the testimony I have gained of it as well.
I did get to speak in church this Sunday! That was great!! I actually got to speak with a young man who is leaving on his mission to Finland this next week! So it was a meeting of farewells!! But it was cool to be able to share my testimony and some of my experiences!! I spoke on the gathering of Israel and how involved God is in that work! A lot of people said I did a good job so I hope so!!
Probably my most favorite part of the week was the temple. I got to take a temple name which was such a blessing. But while sitting in the Celestial room I was praying and reflecting on my mission. While I was praying just an overwhelming feeling of gratitude came over me!! I knew at that very moment how blessed I really am for being able to serve a mission. Heavenly father is doing a great work here. He literally is gathering in his children. He is the one that is doing it. God is so aware of his children it is unbelievable!! He watches, he listens, and he understands our hearts! He loves us and everything that we go through in this life he has specifically laid out for us. It may be hard, but it is worth it and it is for the best of us. I know that the experiences I have had here in the Florida Orlando Mission are blessings from God. I know that the people I met were meant for me to meet. And I just feel so honored that he allowed me to participate in this great work, to actually see and witness him change the hearts of his children and see a little bit of what he sees and what love he has! I cant wait to continue serving him. I cant wait to see what else is in store and see what other miracles i get to witness!!!
After the session they gathered us all together and took us to a sealing room. Hahaha, you would think they would have talked about getting married but they didnt!! (I think just taking us to the room got their point across!) Sister Clark shared such a wonderful testimony with us there. She talked about the power that keeping her covenants has given her and how it helps her just keep moving forward!! Her testimony was so powerful!! I look up to her so much!!!
Well I am excited to see y'all!! I am excited to have IN N OUT!! I am excited to talk to y'all!!! It is going to be a great day!!!
