Hey y'all!!

Wow!!! I am so excited that Samuel was able to get his license!! That sounds like it is so fun having him drive everywhere!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Raquel!!! It is crazy that you are getting so old! I cant believe it!! I am amazed that they still had school during the eclipse, here school was canceled. 

This week was a cool week!! We saw some really cute miracles!! My personal favorite was when we were finding in the neighborhood where Leonard and Jonah and all of them live. We were talking to someone and were actually in the middle of a prayer when Jonah yells from a across the playground and says "Hey Sister Bad!! I have a present for you!!" (Hahaha, yes he calls me Sister Bad). So we finished the prayer and headed over to him. Well his present was a giant cardboard box with a basketball in it!! So we started to shoot baskets into the cardboard box and let me tell you he missed every single basket imaginable. So we told him that we should say a prayer for help. So we folded our arms and taught him to pray and in his prayer he asked for help to make his basket. Well let me tell you when we finished that prayer and he stepped back to shoot all of our faith was in it!! Well guess what!?! Jonah stood back shot and made it!! Let me tell you that was the sweetest answer to aa prayer ever!! Jonah was so excited, wow you could just tell there was such a sweet spirit. You could tell God loved that boy enough to answer his prayer and it really was just a manifestation of his power! It may have been so simple, but it truly was an answer to prayer and a sign of Gods love.

The other day I was reading about how God is our loving Heavenly Father from True to the Faith and I loved this scripture it shared. "...yea, and all things denote there is a God; yea, even the ​​​earth​, and ​​​all​ things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its ​​​motion​, yea, and also all the ​​​planets​ which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator." Alma 30:44.  Lately as I have pondered that I have really seen it made manifest. God has the power to do anything. He has the power to make the grandest miracles and even the ones that mean a ton to a 5 year old boy! I really love it!! Pay attention to those things, they are great!! Oh ya after that he didn't make any other baskets.

Okay so this week was the most stressful thing ever with Melissa, she just fell off but a miracle happened and all of a sudden she texted us. Well let me tell you I am so relieved. She just started a new job, but other than that is still doing great!! Kelley is doing awesome as usual. Slow and steady he is progressing to baptism! Leonard is doing great!! I am happy and things are going great!! Such great things are happening and I am so excited!!
