Part 2

 Alright, so I have time to write about all of the other things!! So this week I have been having a lot of cool spiritual experiences. This morning I was reading in 1 Nephi 1 about Lehi having a vision. I loved the way he described his reaction to the feelings of the spirit. "15 And after this manner was the language of my father in the praising of his God; for his soul did rejoice, and his whole heart was filled, because of the things which he had seen, yea, which the Lord had shown unto him."

Definitely as we have been phased with the storms and all of the stress of others I have noticed the spirit do these same things for me.

The first night in the mission home we had family scripture study and prayer. The spirit was so strong as we all learned from each other. I got to say the prayer and it really did feel as though we were connected to heaven. Later I had the same feeling singing "Be Still my Soul" for our Minnie devotional on Sunday and again hearing all of the Sisters testimonies of the Book of Mormon and how it has helped them. Looking around at all that has happened and seeing the power that God has all I can think is how great it is that we have here blessings. The only way I could describe it was my heart was filled! There were no worries, no stress, but I knew and had confidence in the Plan of Salvation and my connection to God. I am thankful for those experiences. I know that each of us like Lehi can experience having our hearts filled as we turn to God. If we humbly and willfully come unto him. That peace is indescribable and undeniable.

I know that God loves you. I know that he cares for you. I know that we lived with him before we came here and that he wants us to come back to him, but He wants us to grow here. So it may not be rainbows and daisies but all along the way we will have our hearts filled.
