Surviving IRMA!!!!

Wow, that is so great to hear that Brother Dalton is now the Bishop, he will do fantastic!! I am glad to hear Dad received a calling again. You are going to do great things Dad. I am excited to hear what the Lord does through you!! Also, where is Wendy going on her mission?? I haven't heard yet!! She was a super nice girl in Young Women's!! I am glad to hear that she is going on a mission!! She will do fantastic especially with the testimony she has.

Well well well, where do I begin with this one!!! It has been a crazy one!! It started on Monday with a text from the Zone Leaders telling us to stock up with water and food!! Well let me tell you by Monday they were already almost out of water..... ooh no!!!!

Tuesday, we had interviews where President basically gave us a run down of everything that was going on. The Zone Leaders even drew us a nice diagram of Irma and of corse JOSE!!! Hahaha, the rest of the week after that was HURRICANE PREP!!! I have never felt so much anxiety in the air!! You could talk to anyone and they would have a full on conversation about the storm. We got to help tons of people put up shutters and we even met a lady whose last name is Fontana!! Oh trust me we will be teaching her tons!!! Hahaha. Now if a hurricane ever hits CA I will be able to put up shutters on all of y'all houses in just a few hours!!

By Friday half the people in our area was gone and half we were all ready to go. We were told to stop and top off with gas, well we did but the pump didn't stop at when it was full so we had a great gas spill!!! But hey we survived!!

At the mission home we have been living the life. Sister Clark in the first day made 3 desserts and we have been living lives like a queen!!! Sorry this is short and choppy!! We are doing service in the community.
