🌧🌩⛈

 Hello WORld!!!!

Well hello!! I hope you all know a category 5 hurricane is coming my way!!!! Now I hope Miss Irma knows that she needs to calm down just a bit cause no one should have two hurricanes while on their mission... I am sure, based on the storms we have been having, that Houston is having a rough time. I cant even imagine the damage that is happening. I pray that they can receive the help they need.

This week was fantastic. On Monday we were able to go to the Merry Widows family home evening. I love spending time with them. They had a pot luck to say goodbye to me which I thought was so so sweet (even though I still have a while)!! We went to Sister Fergusons house which was beautiful!! She owns a flower nursery, so as you can imagine there were flowers and greenery everywhere!!! I loved it and could have stayed there all night long. Those women are such great examples to me!! They still have their challenges, but they are so faithful and do so much good for so many people!! No matter what age the gospel is for you!! They are also amazing missionaries!! You should see them go!! Later in the week we had dinner with Sister Andrade and Sister Donald. They were companions on their missions. They are part of the merry widows and we were leaving their house but we felt like we should knock a few doors in their complex. Well just as we were leaving the wardens of the complex yelled at us for soliciting.... well just at that moment sister Andrade walks out to do somewhere and she turns to them and says "They're with me, leave them alone!!!" Hahaha it was so great!! I love Sister Andrade.

The next day was ZONE CONFERENCE!!!! Man, that was the best zone conference ever! I learned so much!! President talked about the importance of accounting. He showed us this place in the mountains that he used to go and account to the Lord. It made me think of the many places that have become sacred to me because of the closeness I have felt to the Lord. So many random places like by bed at home and this red chair that is probably from DI in the study room here. They are small but so meaningful to me. He told us that as we account frequently to the Lord we will never feel as though we have wasted our time if we are truly accountable. I thought that was great!! I was also able to see Sister Peterson and Sister Murray for the last times!! Oh my goodness I love those sisters sooooo much!!!

Later in the week we got to see so many great miracles!! And had tons of fun!! Since we were out of miles we decided to bike down to service.... well that was a long bike ride. We biked from the middle of our area all the way to the bottom of the elders area! In 100 degree weather and with a whole lot of humidity! Well when we showed up the elders told us the zone had 700 extra miles so we could have just called and they would have given us some.... oh my goodness Elders!!! As a result my feet got 10 shades tanner (but only my feet) and Sister Beckstead got a nice Sunburn!! Hahaha, it was great! The whole way we contacted people! We also taught a lesson in the middle of a massive thunderstorm on a porch!! I was wild. We could never hear each other talk!! It was hilarious!!

Well I love you all so much!! I hope you all know that!! I am thankful to be here and I know there are many miracles in store for us this week!!! I love you!!!!
